Marco Piva received his architectural degree from the Politecnico di Milano in 1977. His value of differentiation and design innovation led to the founding of Studio Dada Associati in 1978, where his creations became some of the most symbolic representations of the Radical Design period. In 1984 Studio Marco Piva was opened, creating large architectural projects, interior design and industrial design. From 1987 to 1990 he was a member of the Presidential Board of ADI. In 1987 Marco Piva also founded IDA, International Design Agency, and then from 1988 to 1991 he created EDEA, European Design Expert Association.
