Gordon Guillaumier

Gordon Guillaumier was born in Malta in 1966. In 1989 he moved to Milan to study industrial design at the IED followed by a master in industrial design at the Domus Academy. After an apprenticeship with Baleri Associati, he started his collaboration with architect and designer Rodolfo Dordoni and during this period he also designed and presented his own first products for Foscarini and Mito. In 1995 he was engaged in a full-time collaboration with Driade which lasted three years, working on the product strategy and development of Atlantide and Dstore, whereby assisting with the art direction. From 1998 until today he works free-lance in design management and art direction and has collaborated with Dornbracht bathroom interiors, kitchens for Rational and Elt, 2Link silverware, Pamar hardware and Roda outdoor furniture. As product designer, Gordon has collaborated with Bosa, Casa Milano, Desalto, DeVecchi, Elica, Fontana Arte, Foscarini, Matteo Grassi, Minotti, Montina, Nobili Rubinetti, Pamar, Pandora, Varaschin. His works are often reviewed in international design journals - Domus, Abitare, AD, Interni, Modo, ElleDecor, Blueprint and Wallpaper.
