Franco Raggi was born in Milan in 1945. After graduating from the Milan Polytechnic in 1969, He collaborated with Studio Nizzoli Associati. He was editor of Casabella from 1971 to 1976 and editor-in-chief of The Foundation in 1979 and director of Way from 1981-1983. He carried out research on Radical Design and the Neo-Avant-Garde. was manager with the Venice Biennale (showing 'The Object Banale') and the Triennale di Milano. He is professor at the University of Pescara and image consultant for La Rinascente and Croff. He designs product for Fontana Arte, Cappellini, Kartell and Poltronova.
